Last Saturday the girls and boys jv and
varsity Western cross country team traveled to BC Lakeview to run the
Lakeview Invite.
The course was a little wet and there
were a few hills that made racing difficult, but it did not stop our
team from . Quinn Natschke finished 11th overall in the varsity,
coming in two places away from finishing as the first freshman with a
time of 20:37. Coming in for the boys first varsity competitor was
Gezahegn Starr placing 5th over all with a time of 16:55. Sophomore
Rachel Vogt PR’d by 1 minute and 21 seconds.
The girls and boys
varsity team will be competing in the Spartan Invite this Friday.
